My Gerber
It's almost been four months and time just keeps speeding up! Never a dull moment with this little one, Makayla has been very active lately and no signs of slowing down. I know I'm in for it, she's already got me trained! I really don't think we give babyies enough credit, they figure things out a lot faster than we think they do.

Always into something

Reading her book, not really...

She's never worked out, yet she's got a gym outfit. Too funny!

Doll pixels

Christmas just passed and since this was Makayla's first x-mas, my wife and I wanted to put together a baby calender for our parents. Every month should be able to bring new smiles and new hope. This was a fun shoot and I was surprised as to how much Makayla would look into the camera. Can anyone say big ham? As for our parents, they loved the calender we all enjoyed our holiday with our new addition to the family.

HDR

Hello everyone, these shots were taken locally in Long Beach/Seal Beach, its my first attempt at HDR. I really enjoy how much detail is brought out in these type of images. I'm sure I'll be trying again soon, let me know what you think.

Makayla Rose has bloomed

So one of the best moments of my life recently happen, it happened on Wednesday 29th, at 6:49 p.m. My baby girl was born, weighing in at 8lbs and 19 inches in length. We were blessed as Makayla was a healthy baby. My wife has began to recover and I can honestly say how very proud I am of her. These are some of the pictures I've manage to capture up to this point. I can't get enough of my little girl and I'll be posting some pictures of her soon.

It's funny cause my wife and I went through the nine months wondering what and who she would look like...

I say her, she says me....

just seems like a good mix!

So amazing to see how tiny we
start off, so trusting and delicate...

I'm going to take every moment in, before I know it, she'll want her own cell phone and keys to the car.

Don't let Makayla's baby feet deceive you, cause she's got some pretty big feet....

Although I'm pretty sure she can't focus on me, she can definitely hear me and recognizes my voice. I almost think she purposely stuck her tongue out at me in this picture....I would have too!

For such a small girl, she's got some power coming from those arms and feet.
So as you can tell, it's time to go. She looks exactly how I feel.....ready for a nap!

Sleep, eat, and poop....

it's good to be Makayla!

Caleb and Gina

Christine Walker, a colleague from CW Photography recently asked if I could help her with a wedding shoot. I'm always happy to help and especially enjoy the atmosphere of a couple's special day.
When I first met Caleb and Gina you could see why they were together, they complimented each other well. Caleb was easy going and willing to do anything for his bride (which meant posing for pictures).
When the bride arrived, Gina along with her bridesmaids made their way into the the dressing room. Shortly there after, the bride and groom made their appearance. The ceremony was filled with close friends and family. Everyone was excited to be there and witness two deserving people become one. Congrates to both Caleb and Gina!

The venue was great, the wedding coordinator was easy going and fun to work with. Overall, it was hard not to enjoy yourself....

The moment of truth...
Caleb and Gina held hands and kissed right before being announced, it was a beautiful moment to witness and capture. Good luck in everything you do!
